An organization created using volumes formed by the cut-and-fold technique. In this model, where I brought together variations of three main units, I aimed to highlight a linear organization.
HINGE & THRESHOLD

This week, we covered the topics of hinge and threshold. Briefly speaking about the hinge: The HINGE is similar to the threshold except that it brings together things and not parts. To reinforce what we learned, we visited METU and took photos of the hinges and thresholds we observed around us. I’ve shared the photos I took throughout the day with you. I hope you like them!
I shared my project from the final jury above. It consists of 3 groups and 3 units, along with 2 main units. I positioned the other units around these 2 main units. I connected the 3 groups to the main hinge located at the front. The large element I placed at the top encompasses all the volumes.
